For the homeowners, Scala Design provided a familiar and trusted practice given that they had worked in on previous projects. With a comfortable relationship forming a solid foundation, they enlisted full services from concept to installation, to create three new micro sanctuaries.
Za vlasnike kuće, Scala Design je značila poznatu i pouzdanu praksu s obzirom na prijašnju suradnju. Uz ugodan odnos koji je predstavljao čvrst temelj, angažirali su sve usluge od koncepta do instalacije, kako bi stvorili tri nova mikro utočišta.
The intention was to create a bright space with deep connection to the outside environment, where residents would feel connected to nature at all times and feel the presence of the beach even indoors. The complete reconstruction enabled small but powerful modifications in the layout, bringing more natural light into the interior and creating space for facilities that didn't exist before.
Among other things, we created a new electrical installation plan and installed underfloor heating throughout the entire apartment. We added plenty of storage space and practical kitchen appliances, and custom-designed all the furniture. We slightly expanded the outdated bathroom and planned comfortable double sinks and a walk-in shower cabin with twin showers.
Fokus je bio na stvaranju prozračnog interijera povezanim s vanjskim okruženjem, gdje bi se stanari u svakom trenutku osjećali povezani s prirodom i osjećali prisutnost plaže čak i u zatvorenom prostoru. Potpuna rekonstrukcija omogućila nam je primjenu malih, ali značajnih izmjena u rasporedu, unoseći više prirodnog svjetla u interijer i stvarajući prostor za sadržaje koji prije nisu postojali.
Među ostalim, izradili smo novi plan električnih instalacija i postavili podno grijanje kroz cijeli stan. Dodali smo dosta skladišnog prostora i praktičnih kuhinjskih aparata, te dizajnirali sav namještaj po mjeri. Zastarjelo kupatilo smo proširili i predvidjeli komforne duple umivaonike i walk-in tuš kabinu s dva tuša.

Featured throughout the space are stone and terazzo style tiles, while cool white colour applied to the walls, joinery, windows and doors.
Warmer, layered whites and creams are combined on fabrics to create a cozy and refined interior.
U cijelom prostoru korištena je keramika s motivom terazza i kamena, dok je bijela boja hladnijeg tonaliteta korištena za zidove, stolariju, prozore i vrata. Toplije, slojevite bijele i krem boje kombinirane su na tkaninama kako bi se dobio ugodan i pročišćen interijer.
